Duchess Bar

A great collaboration between the client and our design team has led to the creation of an interesting atmosphere for The Duchess, a boutique bar situated at The Lane, Claremont Quarter.

The venue boasts a multitude of eye-catching accessories and an eclectic collection of furniture.

Despite including several classical items, the mix of furniture and materials used in a surprisingly way, gives a modern design feel through effectively exploiting the various qualities of timber and steel.

One of the feature furnishing items is a high table from the Craftsman Collection that was recently launched in “Saturday in Design”.

This Craftsman table features a durable Indian Rosewood top and laser cut rolled plate steel legs in antique black. It is surrounded by classic bentwood Ametist stools.

Standard height dining tables made of compact laminate are complemented by Ametist side chairs made in Poland, These match the stools nicely.

It’s a diverse collection resulting in a space that can only be described as interesting while carrying an aura of sophistication. The furniture selection provides opportunities for intimate settings as well as catering for a larger group of people.
